The reason people think the Wii sucks is because it’s a new way of looking at videogames. Since such a new idea is making waves, so too is there going to be lots of skepticism and criticism. Everybody’s used to looking at videogames as having a conjoined controller where you press buttons and move analog sticks to make things happen, because that’s what we grew up with. In fact, a lot of you might be right that it’s popular among the kids. They didn’t grow up the same way we did. That simple…
It’s actually really easy to see why the wii is so popular. It’s family targetted, there’s games for just about ANY type of player, the remote looks simple ((odd at first for prior nintendo addicts, but fine.)), and a fitness program with a game console? Genius! Over 10 million copies sold world-wide. That’s excellent stats for a game in general. Plus, being a photographer. Showing off my photos in wii’s built in photo viewer is sleek, and snazzy. ;]
